We are busy at Lucius Central at the moment, with the admin side of music being so confusing and having to tick boxes here there and everywhere, plus the exciting prospect of working with some really cool people, we are having trouble to find the time to blink!!!

Hello.

Well for those who are still getting to grips with Facebook timeline, well done. It’s beaten us here at Lucius central. For some reason it doesn’t like our Soundcloud links. So, what better time for a spring clean and reorganisation!

On our music page, we have a Soundcloud set just for songs and another just for instrumentals. Hopefully we’ll be able to get the music back on fb at some stage!!

Hi, as always busy round here, just a few things in the pipeline:

writing a few tunes for a great female soul singer with the hope they get used on her debut album.
Submitted a few instrumentals for an indie film.
In talks with an American publishing company.
Writing for an Australian pop/punk band!
Cheering on Swansea City F.C to Premiership glory!

Call me old fashioned, but I used to like the days when you could meet your favourite band after a gig, get them to sign a CD or have a photo with them!!

These days, when a hero of yours re-tweets you, that is the highest accolade!! How times change.
In Lucius news, I’m currently writing something different. The brief: a female singer, RnB, Hip Hop, a hit!

Full circle.
During my teen years, I loved my Chili’s and Kravitz, but as I like to evolve the music I write, I have always searched for new inspiration, and I soon moved on to pastures new not really paying too much attention to the aforementioned Two!
So 2011, and I’m thinking the rock scene is sounding a little bit quiet, and these two pop up with absolute corkers!!!

So, lately I’ve sent some tunes to US of A for a publishing thing. Submitted a song to Hollyoaks, bought a new mic. Got really into home made smoothies with orange/pineapple/mint. Sent a song off for a film and submitted ZIG ZAG for an advert for Testicular Cancer. An important subject, and a great sounding advert…so we’ll wait and see.

ZIG ZAG is now up on the music page, pop over and have a listen.
